The Asian College Students Short Video Exchange Exhibition Showcased Excellent Works Online

Sponsored by the International Cultural Association of Jilin Province and organized by the Jilin Animation Institute, submissions for “Towards the Future” Asian College Students Short Video Exchange Exhibition underwent an extensive review process. As a result, 29 films exhibiting significant artistic capability and ideological expressions were showcased.

The event was launched at the end of September 2022, and 108 colleges and universities from 20 countries and regions participated. The event received a total of 640 submissions, and after the initial and final evaluation by the jury team composed of authoritative experts, they issued two Rising Star Awards, three Excellent Audio Visual Creative Awards, two Excellent Audio Visual Technical Awards, seven Excellent Cultural Communication Awards, and 15 Excellent Audio Visual Awards.

Many works were showcased during the event, from creative imagery to digital animation, and from micro short films to short films. In essence, all manner of modern artistic imagery were featured. The participants’ passion, earnestness, and artistic spirits shone through their excellent work. A large number of thoughtful, creative, and high-level artwork illustrated the improvement and promising future of young Asian film creators, promoting cultural exchange and understanding between Chinese and overseas university students.
