Later he joined Leo Burnett in Singapore as Deputy Managing Director, which led to him working in a variety of Asian countries including Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Brunei and the USA. He later served as the Managing Director of Kenyon and Eckhardt in Bangkok. Having relocated back to London he was given the task of opening agencies in Russia and other Eastern European Countries. He moved to Hong Kong in 1992 to develop new offices in China and manage business throughout Asia/Pacific, before retiring from advertising in 1995 in order to run two start-up ventures in The UK and serve as a part-time lecturer in advertising and marketing. It is his considerable knowledge, experience and passion for advertising that makes “From Penguins to Paradise: My Life As An Advertising Man” a great and highly amusing read.
